About the Event
This workshop is a fruitful collaboration of an art critic Yana Peven and an artist Yana Ivannikova. The workshop consists of cultural presentation of the "sunflower period" of Vincent Van Gogh and his relationships with Paul Gauguin.
The presentation will be conducted by an art critic Yana Peven, who is an art critic of the Pushkin State Museum of fine Arts, a lecturer on art of the 19th and 20th centuries. After the lunch (included into the Workshop price) a painting part follows. Following Van Gogh's Sunflowers we will create our own watercolor composition. We will learn wet-on-wet techniques, work with complementary colours to create a harmonic combinations.
